"Hi everyone, my name is Gia... I love everything: parties, fun, and entertaining. I’ve worked in the banking industry for over 20 years and absolutely love it. However, hosting dinner parties, creating recipes, and brainstorming party ideas to express love is my real passion. I am the owner and smiling face behind The Houseshoe Hostess blog. 

 

I live by the principle that people may not remember what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel... or what you cooked! I love making everyone I come in contact with feel happy and loved. 

 

I used to cater for large groups, but had to stop due to a back injury. As I laid in bed for months recovering, I was afraid I would lose my passion... But the opposite proved true. Everyday I thought of what I was going to cook when I got better. I made a promise to celebrate everyday. Before I knew it,I had several party ideas and recipes formulated and The Houseshoe Hostess was born."
